Bear Tracks: Wavves “Baseball Cards”

We’ve got great records to keep looking forward to for the rest of the year, but the spotlight is all over the full-band debut from Wavves. Rest assured, I think it’ll be on repeat for many during the rest of the summer.

The track is “Baseball Cards”, one of my favorites from King of the Beach. This synth soaked animal-collective inspired jam has been on repeat for days now. Enjoy it below and pick up King of the Beach when it’s released on August 3rd.

So it’s been a few years since we’ve heard from The Radio Dept. I’ve had a love affair with their sound since 2003’s Lesser Matters. Their new album Clinging to a Scheme is being released in April, and it’s good. I thought I’d share an MP3 from the album, but you really have to check out this dreampop album for yourself.
