Well I’ve returned from South By Southwest and after all the BBQ, breakfast tacos, long lines, free beer, I’ve compiled my summaries from this year’s festival. Each year there’s folks who claim the festival has sold out too much or the idea is stale or that it has become “too much”. After all, this year was the year music officially made it’s stay one day longer and started on Tuesday instead of Wednesday in years past. I’m not opposed to that as SXSW is the best 5 days you’ll spend at any music festival. I didn’t go in with a badge or a wristband, but I get a better experience out of it.

I was there along the ride documenting some of my favorite artists in pictures for Paste Magazine. I’ve gotten through upwards of 2000 photos from the week, and have compiled a gallery on Flickr of the best shots to recap the whole week.
